The name MT itself is clear in defining the bike, which stands for Master of Torque. The naming of the MT series itself is used by Yamaha globally for naked sport motorbike products which are also used as the basis for the R series motorbikes in its class. The MT’s power delivery is fantastic thanks to its lively engine.
The engine has a lot of torque and is very rapid. A throttle twist and the engine’s response are almost instantaneous. Hence, the “Master of Torque” can be felt by users thanks to the combination of the booming engine sound and the torque boost generated by the motorcycle. MT series is basically a culmination of wild designs and raw torque.
Started from the MT-01 concept in 1999, at Tokyo Motor Show, it has established a wide range of siblings like: MT-10, MT-09, Mt-07, MT-03, MT-25, MT15, MT-125.
