Yamaha has updated its popular scooter Fascino which meets BSIV emission norms that sports cosmetic as well as mechanical updates. The new Yamaha Fascino, now, comes with dual tone exteriors that proffer the scooter with elegant design and appearance. Fascino is now available in four exciting new dual tone colors- Blending Blue, Fusion Red, Unite White and Mingling Cyan. Haute White and Sassy Cyan are also available in the market.
Powering the automatic scooter is an 113 cc air-cooled SOHC mill coupled to a V-belt automatic transmission. The BSIV compliant engine is capable of producing 7.1 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 8.1 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm.
The updated Fascino comes with new stylish meter console, attractive head lamp, dual tone colour scheme with elegantly designed graphics, 3D logo, chrome finish on the rear view mirrors, 21-litre storage space, small utility storage space, convenient hook, longer seat, grab bar and much more.
The updated scooter is offered with both kick as well as electric start. The Yamaha Fascino is suspended over telescopic forks up front and gets drum brakes. The deceleration duties are carried out by drum brakes at the front as well as rear with 90/100-10 tubeless tyre at the front and 90/100-10 tubeless tyre at the rear. The scooter tips the scale at 103 kg (unchanged) but the ground clearance has been raised by 2 mm to 130 mm thus providing it more space to tackle with typical Nepalese roads.
The price for new Yamaha Fascino is Rs 1,94,900/- only. The Yamaha Fascino was launched in May 2015. SInce then, it has established itself as the Supermodel scooter especially because of its classic looks, unmatched performance and comfort.
